“Extremely fair rent for the area, in fact, the fairest rent being charged on our very extensive apartment search. Most places are raising rents in the area due to the new business on 53rd street, however, the area is not built for that market as it is mostly transient students who don't have that kind of budget and long time hyde parkers who know better that the area won't be able to hold that inflated value. We snatched up a beautiful vintage apartment with built-in bookshelves. Lovely sunroom. Easy access to public transit into the city. We pay less because of the "vintageness" and love it for both of those reasons. Maintenance is sometimes a little slow to respond, however, they manage likely thousands of apartments in the area so it is understandable. Each interaction with maintenance has been very positive. We appreciate the employment MAC gives to the area and it's fair market evaluation of rental properties giving many a fair option on a limited budget.”

“Ruth has been the most amazing person I have worked with from MAC. I had a complicated situation (tenant change and a new lease for myself), and she helped me flawlessly with such efficiency. She called me this morning, and we have processed all of the necessary documents, emails, etc. for the move to happen by TUESDAY (in 2 days)!!! Even though tomorrow is a holiday, she has been on top of everything and has been very clear about all of the requirements. I can't wait to move into my new place thanks to her!!!
