I think new residents should be given some basic information when they move in such as package delivery procedures, how to use the thermostat in the unit and phone numbers if you have questions . The overall move in went well.

Chastity was a great help when I arrived. She made me aware that we needed to access 2 elevators to get to the 3rd floor, and luckily my movers were okay with this when they arrived at the building. All of the plumbing is in good working order, and the maintenance staff showed me how to access the fitness room and use the thermostat. The bedroom door had a stain on it that I am hoping was soda. I'm cleaning it off now and trying not to disturb the paint. Jessica has been very good with my additional questions so far. I see that I will have to get cable in order to see over the air channels like ABC. Right now, I look forward to settling in.

Maintenance People are Great

We had to repair and replace our washer/dryer unit. The maintenance people who came were friendly and helpful. They fixed the washer right away and were so pleasant to deal with. You can tell they really care about their work. Thanks!

3 month update

We found Shoreland by chance, just driving by on our way out of town. The character of the place and amazing location drew us in and we were ecstatic to see modern amenities in the units. The Shoreland staff has been helpful and attentive thus far and the building is well looked after. Our washer break down and they worked to fix it in a timely manner and followed up a few days later to confirm it was up and running. We're very happy here! My small critique, our elevators on the 5th floor are missing the beautiful decals on the elevator; I wish we had them! :) *wink wink*

It contains useful information, however, some of them are outdated, for example the internet service aviailable to us has no longer the Xfinity. We can only use AT&T here. The website should replace the obsolete information so that we will be more efficient in moving in.

Awesome staff, Awesome building!

The Shoreland is a wonderful building. The front desk staff is very polite and friendly. The building has a true community mentality. Very dog friendly if your pet owner. They even have a room dedicated for pet grooming so you don’t have to groom your pet in your apartment. Having the washer and dryer is a huge convience. The tenant storage is also wonderfully convenient. Our apartment though small is very nice. Some people complain about the heating cost being charged year round but I myself appreciate the flat rate bill! The lobby is awesome for studying or leasure. Areas of improvement: Repair requests response time could benefit from a greater since of urgency. Cable in the entertainment room would be great as the current atenna setup is pretty limited. I think it would drive a lot more traffic & engagement around the entertainment room. Advice to management: Walk the building more frequently as the cleaning staff isn’t cleaning as thorough | often as they should be. You walking the building and checking the floors daily will ensure an even better resident experience and enforce accountability. They sometimes neglect the pooch room and trash rooms however these areas should be cleaned daily or min 2-3 times per week. If you all improve the three opportunity areas this would be a perfect review.
