Rundown, poorly managed and in serious need of repair

I would tell here at 5049 S. Drexel is like living in an old hunted drug house. The building looks nice on the outside, if there aren't any riff raff standing out in front (as there aways is and will be), and once you walk thru the door it's an entirly diffenerent visual. Once you come in whether it's the front or back you're greeted which the sight of trash bags FULL of gargage, toys scattered here and there to trip over, cigirette butts that in most cases are still lite, broken light fixures, broken door locks that'll allow you open access, crooket stairs, the list goes on. The most common everyday greeting you'll find coming onto this poorly managed property is the smell of marajuana and thugs (who don't live in the building but can get in because none of the doors really lock) in the hallway smoking (only GOD only knows what) eating out of food containers they have no intention of tossing anywhere but the foyer floor to be left behind and as the smell of rotten food fills the air. Lastly, I would say if you have children or plan to start a family, this is not the building for you. If you're used to a beautifully kept building, a management team that really cares and listens to your concerns and cares about their tenants and not just whether they pay their rent...this is not the place for you. In closing this building is for people who don't care where they live and want to throw their money away. If I could get out of the lease without damaging my credit I would. ASAP.
