Job Description:

Leasing Consultants are responsible for helping renters select an apartment managed by MAC Property Management in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Kansas City. MAC uses a variety of outlets to advertise our apartment buildings: social media, company website, internet renting sites, magazines, newspapers, radio, resident referrals, banners, billboards and street marketing. A potential apartment renter will contact a Leasing Consultant for more details about the renting process or a particular property. The Leasing Consultant will set up an appointment and tour properties based on their clients’ needs. Once the client finds a suitable apartment, the Leasing Consultant is responsible for processing the application and getting the lease signed.

 

The Leasing Consultant is the primary point of contact for all prospective residents. MAC is looking to hire and train bright, personable, energetic and polite college graduates who have a passion for hospitality. When Leasing Consultants are not touring apartments, they are busy responding to inquiries from applicants via e-mail, phone, text, social media or video conferencing.

 

The ideal Leasing Consultant may not necessarily have an apartment leasing background. However, the right candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years of sales and customer service experience. If you are energetic, like to meet new people, are motivated by delivering outstanding customer service, have a car and want a career in real estate, you will love this job.
